It's good to join this very active group of Ankara alumni and friends. After spending 7 years in Ankara, I have a special affinity for the Ankara Scene and I still have friends who travel to Ankara every year and I keep up to date with the progress that Turkey has made in the world.

The photo's I have added were taken on a recent cruise that a friend of mine took that stopped in Kushadasi and Istanbul in November 2007. My friend, Don Smith and wife Maryellen, are old Anakaraites like myself, and their son and daughter, Robyn Smith and Mark Smith, attended GCMHS from 1979 through 1984. Robyn is married and has one son, Adam, and Mark is also married and has a son, Chris, who just became an Eagle Scout, and a daughter, Caitlyn. They live near us and we see them regularly. |
